Is your electrical or electronic product compliant with energy efficiency regulations?
Energy Efficiency
Energy efficiency is the effect of using less energy to perform the same task to produce the same result. Energy efficiency is one of the simplest and most cost-effective ways of tackling climate change and reducing energy costs.
Some products, such as energy-efficient light bulbs, use less energy to produce the same amount of light (e.g., LED bulbs).

European Union Ecodesign and Energy Labelling
Directive (EU) 2018/2002 amending Directive 2012/27/EU
Ecodesign and Energy Labelling Working Plan 2022-2024:
On March 30, 2022, the European Commission presented a proposal for a regulation
establishing a general framework for setting ecodesign requirements for sustainable products,
repealing existing rules that focus solely on energy-related products.
The Regulation would lay down ordinances that would apply to all products on the internal
market to make them more durable, reusable, reparable, upgradable, recyclable, and not harmful to the environment.
It would include rules on digital product passports, green procurement, and prohibiting the disposal of unsold goods.
Directive 2009/125/EC and Regulation (EU) 2017/1369 in Ecodesign and Energy Labelling
Energy efficiency has earned the world market. More countries are adopting their energy efficiency programs for local and imported products.
