Updated Lists of Harmonized Standards
The Commission of the European Union (EU) has amended the Annexes of the EU’s Radio Equipment Directive 2014/53/EU, detailing harmonized standards used to establish conformity with the Directive’s essential requirements.
The Commission Implementing Decision (EU) 2020/167 is repealed and rectifies Annexes I and II of the Directive, proving the use of 167 additional ETSI-drafted harmonized standards of the RED.
Annex III of the Directive is a revision of the withdrawal date of 22 ETSI Standards.
Compliance with a harmonized standard confers a presumption of conformity with the corresponding essential requirements set out in Union harmonization legislation.
